Tympo (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information Tympo handles, how it is used, and your choices.
1. Overview
Tympo is a workout timer app. You can create and run workouts, optionally use camera mirror during workouts, and optionally sync workout data across your Apple devices using iCloud.
2.1 Workout Data
- We process workout content you create, such as workout names, exercise and rest sequence, durations, and progression settings.
- By default, this data is stored locally on your device.
- If you use iCloud Sync, this data is uploaded to your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit so it can sync across your devices.
2.2 Camera Access (Optional)
- If you enable Camera Mirror, Tympo accesses your camera to show a live mirror view during workouts.
- Camera data is not recorded, stored, or uploaded by Tympo.
- Tympo offers a one-time non-consumable purchase.
- Purchases and payment processing are handled by Apple via the App Store.
- We do not receive your full payment card details.
2.4 Trial and Access State
- Tympo stores app access state information (for example, trial timing and purchase unlock status) on your device to determine feature access.
We use information only to provide app functionality, including:
- Saving and loading your workouts
- Running timers and progression settings
- Syncing workouts across your devices (if enabled)
- Managing trial and purchase access
- Supporting purchase restore functionality
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
Tympo may rely on Apple services to provide core functionality:
- App Store and StoreKit for in-app purchase and restore
- CloudKit and iCloud for optional workout sync
Any information processed by Apple services is governed by Apple’s policies and terms.
5. Data Storage and Retention
- Local workout and app state data remains on your device until you delete app data or remove the app.
- If iCloud Sync is enabled, synced workout data is stored in your private iCloud database and retained according to your iCloud account settings and Apple service behavior.
- You can remove workout data in the app by deleting workouts.
6. Your Choices
You can:
- Use Tympo without enabling camera mirror
- Choose whether to use iCloud Sync
- Disable iCloud for Tympo in your device iCloud settings
- Restore previously purchased access through the app’s Restore Purchase option
7. Children’s Privacy
Tympo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security
We use platform-provided security features and Apple frameworks to support secure storage and data handling. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. International Users
If you use Tympo in regions outside your home country, your data may be processed through Apple infrastructure in accordance with Apple’s terms and applicable laws.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Last Updated date above.
